Transitus of our Holy Father of St. Francis – The Journey from Death to Life

On October 3 at 7:30PM we will have
the celebration of Transitus, St. Francis’s passing from this world to the
next. Brother Scott will preach and Canticum Novum will sing.
Join us for a beautiful celebration of the Transitus – the passing into eternal life of St. Francis of Assisi. This ancient Franciscan tradition includes readings from the testimonies of the light, the agape (sharing of the bread), and the veneration of the relic. In the ambiance of the candlelit Basilica, beautiful choral music will be provided by local choir Canticum Novum.
