Are you feeling burdened or even attacked about your role as father, husband or just plain old male in the current culture? If you need some firepower to confront the barrage against your manhood, well, Church Militant has the perfect opportunity for you. Everything begins in the home — and you men are the spiritual fathers (the patriarchs) of your families. But even the patriarchs of the Old Testament needed help in preserving the people of God.
Moral and spiritual strength is required, as well as the honor to endure the sacrifices needed for those in your care. That’s why “Strength and Honor” is the name of our annual men’s retreat and conference each August, to which you are invited.
The very identity with which God created you — manhood, masculinity — is under severe assault, and men need to come together and remember not only Whose image and likeness we are created in, but also the specific form taken on by the Incarnate Eternal Logos — a man!
Saint Michael’s Media reserves the right to remove disruptive individuals from the retreat and refund any monies paid.
All functions will take place at Club Venetian Banquet Center, 29310 John R. Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071. Sunday Mass will be celebrated at the historic Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 4440 Russell St. in Detroit.
Jesse Romero is a full-time Catholic lay evangelist (fluent in English and Spanish) who is nationally acclaimed for his dynamic, upbeat, Christ-centered preaching. Visit his website: JesseRomero.com.
Listen to Jesse’s daily shows on Virgin Most Powerful Radio: Jesus 911 from 9–10 a.m. and The Terry and Jesse Show from 11 a.m.–noon PST. All shows are also podcasts if you cannot listen live.
Jesse is a resident of Arizona and a retired Los Angeles deputy sheriff. He has been married to his wife Anita since 1983. They are the parents of three children. Jesse has been preaching since 1995. He has defended Holy Mother Church against secular humanism on Spanish television and in several official debates with Protestant pastors.
